404 Festival, London
“404” is a independent non profit project whose main goal is to promote and spread artistic productions around the world in field of Electronic Art, creating also a production environment in which authors can exhibit their works and interrelate.
Starting from an annual international calling and the subsequent selection of works, “404” supports artists whose proposals are based on originality and research.
As a result of the 2006 call, 126 artworks from 27 different countries in the following categories: Net.Art, Still Image, Animation, Video, Music, Audiovisual-Set, Theory, Performance and Installation.
Authors from Japan, France, Serbia, USA, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Italy, Belgium and Holland, among others will be present at the Festival.
“404” is an artistic event created by “Astas Romas” located in Rosario (ARG), which is an urban and cultural center with more than one million inhabitants.
This Festival, open to the public and free of charge, is endorsed by cultural organizations from Europe, North America and Latin America.

Alphabetville développe conjointement des activités de recherche théorique et de création artistique.
Les questionnements se situent autour des notions d’auteur et d’écriture, de langages et de medias, et les réalisations se matérialisent sur divers supports techniques.
Les objets et les manifestations proposés trouvent ainsi leur inscription dans une variété de media et de formes de présentation : livre, lectures publiques, théâtre, radio, multimedia, conférences...
Une attention particulière est donnée à la spécificité d’une écriture en fonction du medium utilisé. Les notions de langage et d’écriture sont abordées dans le rapport à ces spécificités.
Une place privilégiée est offerte aux formes d’expression artistique, et la notion d’auteur est fortement soutenue dans toutes les disciplines et les collaborations envisagées.
Structure de production pour des oeuvres multi-media, Alphabetville tente aussi d’articuler pratique et théorie de l’art et de la culture en confrontant artistes, chercheurs, opérateurs culturels et public par l’organisation de rencontres et de débats, et d’élaborer ainsi un espace public critique.

Cybersonica
Cybersonica is London's annual, international, festival for electronic music, sound, art and technology. The six-year old festival is supported by the Arts Council England and other sponsors.
It invites sonic and digital artists to submit new pieces for commissioning, with four new pieces to be selected in 2007. In 2007 Cybersonica kicked-off the festival at Tate Britain's Late at Tate evening on 6 April, bringing numerous live performances, sonic artworks, audiovisual artists, DJs and short films to the venue. Among its participants are Brian Duffy's Modified Toy Orchestra, The Sancho Plan, Martyn Ware, the founding member of Heaven 17 and The Human League, with his 3D sound system from The Illustrious Company, which he runs with Vince Clarke, body>data>space, Future Shorts and others. In Spring 2007 Cybersonica hosts Soundwaves, a six-week exhibition at Kinetica Museum, in Spitalfields Market of London, England. Throughout the years, the Cybersonica festival has attracted headline artists and witnessed the debut of Guitar Hero II during its 2006 gathering.
